Project manager - Fulltime
Responsible for the project management of mission critical software application development and support initiatives. Responsible for the collection and documentation of work requirements and specifications to meet the technology needs of the business. Determine long-term strategy of technology solutions. Responsible for the individual professional development and team management for Business Analysts.
Work with Marketing, Operations, IT, and client to facilitate, organize, plan, document and finalize work requirements to meet the technology needs of the business. Determine long-term strategy of technology solutions.
Design data flow, software architecture, and data models; document them in technical and functional specifications.
Manage project scope and change control to focus and organize development efforts.
Coordinate with developers and quality assurance analysts to champion projects through the software development life cycle.
Provide knowledge of how technology systems work and communicate with non-technical personnel how they relate to each other.
Responsible for the people management of a team of Business Analysts including :
o Team leadership
o Resource allocation
o Career development
o Performance reviews
Requires experience with: software project management, relational database query and design, technical documentation, PC skills, and Microsoft Office products
Requires at least 5 years experience in IT project management.
At least associates degree required, BS in related field preferred.
Experience with Asp.Net, VB.Net, Microsoft SQL, and DTS is preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills.
Professional attitude, enthusiastic, and disciplined work ethic.
Proven team player.
Effective written and verbal communication skills.
